DETERMINING THE SIZE
DETERMINING THE SIZE OF STEITZ SECURA SHOES
Shoe manufacturer STEITZ SECURA offers shoes with different widths and, in some shoe models, the STEITZ SECURA VARIO System heel suspension, according to the weight of the wearer. In order to determine the right size, you need to measure three values. The length and width of your foot and your weight. Using this manual, you can determine the right size for yourself.
DETERMINING THE SIZE OF YOUR FOOT
Place a sheet of paper next to a wall and step on it with your heel touching the wall. You need to stand with both of your feet next to each other and put your weight on the foot you are trying to measure. Once you have done that, trace your longest toe on the paper (ideally have someone else do it). Do this for both of your feet. (one A4 sheet of paper may not be enough for above average sizes, use a bigger sheet).
After tracing both of your feet, measure the longest distance between each line and the edge of the paper and write it down.
DETERMINING THE WIDTH OF YOUR FOOT
Pages 3 and 4 explain the multi-width system. The shoes are produced in four widths for each size to get maximum user comfort. When ordering, please always indicate the shoe width you require. The standard shoe width is marked NB. For larger order volumes, we recommend purchasing a STEITZ SECURA´S shell measuring system (p. 4). It is a measurement using shells for simple and reliable determination of the optimal shoe size and width.“
Place your foot on a sheet of paper and trace the shape of it. Do this for both of your feet (just tracing the widest point is fine, it is usually between the joints of your big toe and little toe)
After you have done that, measure the longest distance between the lines and write it down. Do this for each foot.
DETERMINING THE SIZE USING YOUR MEASUREMENTS WITH OUR ONLINE CALCULATOR (RECOMMENDED) OR COMPARE THEM WITH THE SIZE TABLE
Always use the measurements of the longer foot.
Example:
Left foot – length: 260 mm, width: 103 mm Right foot – length: 262 mm, width: 102 mm Weight: 100 Kg
We will use the measurements from the right foot: length 262 mm and width 102 mm.
Length of 262 mm corresponds to size 41
We enter the values into the online calculator or compare them with the size table.
Length of 262 mm corresponds to size 41
Width of 102 mm in size 41 corresponds to shoe width XB
Weight of 100 Kg corresponds to the black module.
To calculate the size, use the online calculator.
Enter the length, width of the longer foot and your weight. The size, width and Vario module are automatically calculated.
If you are not sure about determining the correct size
(for example, if there is a large difference in the sizes of both feet), or if the text „The width for this size is out of range“ appears on the calculator, please send us the following information:
Length and width of the foot (left and right), weight and size of the shoes you normally wear. You can insert data into the table below. Next, take a photo of both feet from the front view with a label of who it is from (the same ID as in the table below, so we can match the photo with the measurements).
